Presented by Tony Machi, CPA, MBA, CDA with Stambaugh Ness

Engineering Companies of Texas

Every year, firms are held liable for overhead rate errors. And it’s no wonder, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) overhead rates are notoriously complex and loaded with tricky nuances. Correctly interpreting and applying the FAR requirements is critically important especially in the year the AASHTO Audit Guide is being updated.

Join national FAR audit expert Tony Machi from Stambaugh Ness for this training session that includes an overview of FAR theory and related regulation, updates to the audit guide and what they mean to your firm, the latest Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA) court cases on timekeeping and mergers and acquisitions, an overview of key allowable/unallowable costs, the 2025 Compensation Matrix and its effect on firm overhead and lastly, why all of this is important to AE Firms.

Plus, we'll discuss what TxDOT PEPS wants you to know to ensure an efficient submission process. Don't miss this training chock full of valuable information!
