John Stacy proudly serves as the County Commissioner for Rockwall County Precinct 4.  He ran on a platform for conservative governance which he has successfully brought to the County.  The last budget passed was below the no new revenue rate, which allows for a fully funded government and lower taxes to the citizens of Rockwall County.  Commissioner Stacy is passionate about County Budgets and has been working hard to increase infrastructure investments in the county while trying to slow the pace of development due to concerns over the infrastructure.

John is a descendant of Old 300, which originally established the Texas Colony with Stephen F. Austin.  He has been married for 23 years to his beautiful wife Amie.  They have three children, Jude, Gabriel and Luke.  John is a resident of Fate Texas.  Since moving to Fate 16 years ago he has been very active in the community.  He has served the City on City Council, Economic Development Corporation, City Charter Review Committee three times, Planning and Zoning Committee, and Capital Impact Advisory Board.  John also has been on the County Historic Commission as a member and now as the Court Liaison to the Board.  John has served as a Republican Party Precinct Chair in Rockwall County.  John started in politics during the Tea Party Movement and became very active in State Politics before running for City Council.  John is active in Boy Scouts founding and being the Scoutmaster for Fate Troop 163.  John has also served many years as a youth Bible Teacher and an adult Bible Study Leader.  Currently John is attending Community Life Church in Rockwall.
