2026 ACEC Texas Leadership Academy

ACEC Texas is pleased to announce the 2026 class in our continuing series of the Consulting Engineering Leadership Academy— a leadership-training program for young principals and others identified as future leaders in member firms.

The program is designed for individuals with approximately 4 to 15 years’ experience in the industry and who are identified as potential leaders of your firms. Approximately 35 individuals will be selected through registration and recommendation. Participants will be expected to participate in four sessions, which will be presented in four modules: Leadership Skills, Business Management Skills, Vision and Strategic Thinking and The External Environment

Each Academy session will deliver an intensive, two-day interactive learning experience designed to accelerate professional growth. Participants will gain exceptional value by engaging with a group of peers who are advancing through similar stages of their professional development, creating a powerful environment for collaboration and connection.

Throughout the program, participants will explore high-impact topics -  including emotional intelligence, effective management of a professional services firm, and strategic planning needed to elevate their leadership and performance.

A credit of 24 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) will be allowed for each attendee. These credits can be used to help meet the continuing education requirements for professional engineers. These requirements are mandatory for all 2026 and 2027 PE registration renewals.

The tuition for the program will be $3,250 per participant. This will cover the cost of speakers, speaker expenses and meals associated with the sessions. Each participant or their firm will be responsible for transportation to and from each session and overnight lodging costs at the session site.
