The Small Firm Committee (SFC) is a standing committee dedicated to promoting and improving the business interests of small engineering companies (as defined by the SBA), which if you provide engineering services means that your annual revenues are $16.5M or less. Helping them achieve their professional and financial goals through advocacy, education, and networking. - Advocacy - The SFC advocates for the improvement of the business environment for small firms, including increasing awareness of and active participation in proposed policy and regulatory actions affecting them - Education - Develop small business education programs and coordinate with existing ones currently provided by ACEC state and national; federal, state, and local governments; and community organizations. - Networking - Provide opportunities for networking between small and large firms, including a small firm mentoring program.
